First up, we detour through Michigan as we chat with Tom Leger who helped create Ken’s current favorite internet video: two cartoon characters trying to reconcile the distinctly trans unfriendly practices of the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival (click here to watch the video). Then it’s time to focus on the downfall of Prop 8 and media coverage of LGBT life in general as we are joined by Jarrett Barrios, President of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). This is a man who is both moving equal rights forward even as he is über passionate about his musical selections. An inspiring combo indeed.
